Scholarships
The following scholarships are available for MET students.
The Nortel Institute Scholarship
for Telecommunications is awarded annually to an MET student. This scholarship is made possible by an endowment established by Nortel Networks, and is available to an exceptional Canadian or Permanent Resident
student attending the MET program on a full-time basis. This Scholarship
will be awarded based on academic merit as well as financial need. The value of the scholarship may be up to $12,000.
The Bell Canada Entrance Scholarship is awarded to an MET student. This scholarship is made possible by an endowment established by Bell Canada, and is available to an exceptional student attending the MET program on a full-time basis, and is awarded based on academic merit as well as financial need. The value of the scholarship may be up to $15,000.
The MTS/Allstream Scholarship is awarded to an MET student. This scholarship is made possible by an endowment established by MTS/Allstream, and is available to an exceptional student attending the MET program on a full-time basis, and is awarded based on academic merit as well as financial need. The value of the scholarship may be up to $10,000.
The Industry Advisory Board Scholarship is awarded to an MET student. This scholarship is available to an exceptional student attending the MET program on a full-time basis, and is awarded based on academic merit as well as financial need. The scholarship is funded by the proceeds of the Executive Development Program sponsored by the MET Industry Advisory Board. The value of the scholarship may be up to $10,000.
