Program

The MET program is offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as a full-time (12 to 16 months) program. The curriculum consists of three distinct components:

  • The immersion component (ECE1801, ECE1802, ECE1803, ECE1804) immerses the student in the study of networks and telecommunications.
  • The specialization component allows the student to develop and undertake a specialized program in an area of interest.
  • The final component (ECE1800) of the program is a project of four- to six-months duration that provides the student with the opportunity to perform and document a reasonably comprehensive project.
